Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed on Sep. 27, 2008 by Vicky
My Brother-in-law and i made this recipe for the first time last week. This is our first attempt on a cheesecake ever. So, by experience (now) I can say this is one of the best recipes ever. We had no problems baking it (or eating it). It took the entire 6 hours to cool and the temptation is great, but you have to hold off until it cools to eat it. It is incredible rich but that is what cheesecake is meant to be - rich. The only problem we had was the crust. It didn't come out the way we wanted, but the cheesecake was awesome.

Vanilla Winter White Russian

This is exactly what i was looking for. A rich, creamy, cold drink for a summers evening. Top it off with whip cream and chocolate and its perfection!

Peach Cobbler IV

real easy to make for quick desserts. i suggest to remove most of the juice since it makes the texture to doughy. good served cold with whipped cream on top!
