Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed on Jun. 19, 2008 by Schwabengirl
I used this recipe to make a mega batch for my girls birthday. I made it ahead and then poured it in 1 hughe Alufoil pan. I loved it but missed a little zip. I thought it was better than the box brand, although my kids prefer the box. I'll definitely will make this again. It works really well if you need to make cook ahead meal and assemble them into family size portions, store it in the freezer and bake it from frozen. Thanks a bunch. Yummi.

No Fail Pie Crust I

Reviewed on Jun. 19, 2008 by Schwabengirl
Thank you! Thank you! I didn't grow up in North America and was therefor not familiar with making pies. Since I married a Canadian an am living in Canada I tried repeatedly to master the pie crusts. Usually my pie crusts didn't turn out so great, so I usually used the pre-made frozen or the Pillsbury one, which is not too bad. Yesterday I tried out this recipe with Chicke pot pie and this has been the yummiest crust. Even my 6-year old ate 2 pieces of the pie and the crust, which she used to leave behind on the plate. It really worked for me. Now I feel I can finally make a pie that is completely homemade and I feel this is a great achievement. Thanks a million, it went into my keeper box.

Reviewed on Jun. 16, 2008 by Schwabengirl
We made these and they are soo yummi. I had made to many, so I froze two batches before cooking and they were just as tasty when I cooked them from frozen. Even my 6 year old daughter is eating them. tonight I will try out with left over pork roast. Thanks for this yummi recipe.
