I found I had sooo much sauce and not that many apples but this recipe is really great and really easy to use with many things. Loved it.

Cupcakes with a hint of chocolate...The're excellent. I did'nt have walnuts so I added Pecans instead (delicious). I also added chocolate chips to half the batch and that definately hit the spot!

Sour Cream Rhubarb Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2008
This pie was delicious. I used frozen rhubarb and it worked out just great, I did find the lemon zest a bit pungent and would omit next time but I am a purist when it comes to rhubarb - no strawberry or lemon nonsense for me.

Peach Pie the Old Fashioned Two Crust Way

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2008
I am rating this high as the flavours are delicious. A homemade pastry makes this very special. - I keep plugging away. Actually this was the first time I was not cursing while making the crust. Very worth it if you can manage it. I followed the directions as stated. Unfortunately the peaches I used were not the greatest and this lovely pie suffered for it. I will for sure make this again and buy the best quality of peaches I can find. Thanks for this recipe. It's tucked away for the next time.

Spicy Peach Chutney

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2008
I am the original submitter of this recipe. I feel compelled to write this review after reading the last couple reviews. Some have said that it takes at least four hours to get the chutney to a thick consistency. When I first made this recipe, I also felt that it was a little thin, but I went ahead and processed it anyways. When the chutney had cooled off after processing it was quite a bit thicker. I still only cook the chutney for 1 1/2 hours. I also wanted to note that the recipe says that it takes 8 hours for prep. That is an error that all recipes made when printing the recipe. It doesn't really take much more than 30 minutes to do the prep work.

Cheddar Quiche

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2008
This was quick and easy to make without the fuss of making regular pastry. I wasn't overly thrilled with the Bisquik pastry but as I said, it was a quick and easy trade off. I made this late last night so as to have something to pack in my kids lunches today. I added just cheddar and diced ham and some italiano seasoning blend. My husband had smelled it cooking and requested two slices for breakfast this morning, siting that real men really do eat quiche, so obviously it was a success and I would imagine they will request it again. Thanks for the recipe.

Arrabbiata Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2008
Without a doubt my all time favorite sauce. I make it regularly...exactly as written. I use wheat pasta with it and some kind of protein whether its chicken, sun dried tomato sausages or beef. A true fast food for the health conscious!!!
