My wife has been making this for years. Very nice flavor and quick to make. A summertime favorite for us.

Spinach and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
I used fresh spinach and grape tomatoes, which I left whole. I also served the dressing separately, since my kids don't like it and my husband likes way more than I do. Five star fresh recipe. However, the leftovers weren't that great, and since I had enough for my husband and I to have it for lunch, it was disappointing.

Molly's Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
What a disappointment. I followed the directions, except added carrots and onions to the crock pot like others suggested. After 6 hours on low, everything was tender, but the smell was funky and the taste wasn't right either. The carrots and onions tasted like stew veggies out of place in an asian recipe, and the sauce just wasn't that great. My fiance and I agree; we won't make this one again.

Fire Roasted Tomato and Feta Pasta with Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
I loved this quick and delicious recipe. I added some fresh parsley and lemon zest and I could not find fire roasted tomatos so used diced tomatoes with garlic, basil, and oregano added. I made recipe according to directions and def came out with 4 servings with 1 left over and added double if not triple the amt of shrimp and they were the large ones. My kids loved it. I served along side garlic cheese bread and ceasar salad. Will def make again.

The bean mixture was fabulous but added to the sweet potato is yuk. These to flavors should not be put together. It was awful. YUK YUK YUK! BARF! The beans with some rice would be 5 stars.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
I'd give this 5 stars for ease in making but 3 for texture (as compared to my previous banana bread experiences). I had all of the ingredients on hand and used pecans instead of walnuts and applesauce instead of butter. I found the texture to be kind of spongy, not as soft as I would have liked; the flavor is very good though. I made 3 wee loaves and they took 35 minutes in the oven and 10 on the baking sheet. thanks for the recipe!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
We loved this! I took others advice and doubled the soup/sauce ingredients. I also substituted milk for the wine, because I could not find a corkscrew! It turned out YUMMY! Harvey said it was a keeper....

Chicken Hurry

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
This was very good. B/F thought it was a bit too sweet, thus the 4 stars. I didn't add the brown sugar and I did line the bottom of the baking dish with thin sliced yellow onion and fresh sliced mushrooms. Had 3 large bone-in chicken breasts, removed the skin and sprinkled with s/p then covered with the sauce. I had to cook mine for about 1 hour 15 minutes but they were super juicy. I have one breast left over so I will shred that up today and make a yummy salad for lunch.
