My hubby loves apple pie, I am not much of a baker when it comes to pies, anything else I can do. I loved how easy the crust was. My hubby said it was the best Pie he has ever had, he had 3 slices and couldnt stop eating it.
I made it exactly as written, I was a little worried about the top crust, I should of looked at the reviews where it said the butter had to be cold. So it was a little doughy, but it was sooooo good anyway. I will be making this again as we have tons of apples from apple picking. I used 6 concord apples.
