Belgian Molasses Bread

Reviewed on Aug. 29, 2008 by whodunitrdr
This was a very flavorful bread, with a rich, molasses flavor. It makes great toast, egg salad and ham sandwiches but the molasses flavor is a bit too pronounced for a tuna sandwich (just my personal preference). It made my kitchen smell wonderful while it was mixing and baking. I'm saving this recipe to make again.

Sweet and Sour Drumettes

Reviewed on Jul. 25, 2008 by whodunitrdr
I was looking for a sweet and sour recipe that did not call for pineapple since I did not have any on hand and I found this one. I used drumsticks and the only change I made was to add a little salt and pepper to the flour when I breaded the chicken. I turned the chicken over a couple of times while it was baking to make sure it was well coated with the sauce. It was very good and the sauce was excellent over white rice. The coating stayed crunchy, even after being basted with the sauce and the chicken was moist and flavorful. This is a good, basic sweet and sour sauce that I am sure would also be good on boneless pork cubes or bite size ribs like you get in chinese restaurants.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed on Jul. 25, 2008 by whodunitrdr
This is our new favorite chicken marinade and is a nice change from teriyaki or italien flavors. I have used it for the grill and also under the broiler and with chicken breasts and whole cut up chickens with equally good results. Definitely a keeper.
